we might see a brief break... but the rain will continue on through Wednesday.

The showers will hang around for a little while longer. I do think it will wrap-up on Wednesday night into Thursday morning. At that time we could see it change to some snow! Especially, in the higher elevations.

When the rain ends the cooler air will be come the main attraction for a couple of days. Highs will struggle to get out of the 40s.

Now as mentioned in the title... a look back at a past forecast. As I was putting together my 2011-2012 Winter Forecast ... I came across last year's forecast. So here's how the snow forecast measured up!

 2010-2011 Snowfall Forecast

Total Snowfall

Those high elevations proved pretty tough last season. I think we'll see similar amounts this season!

My next blog post will be the 2011-2012 Winter Forecast. I should have it posted by 8pm Wednesday night!
