A line of very strong storms ripped across Kentucky on Monday afternoon-Monday evening. Numerous tornado warnings were issued and damage piled up all across KY!

The wicked line of thunderstorms that swept across KY is now a memory, but icertainly brought down the house. Damage reports have been coming in from all across eastern KY.

Winds were howling long before the storms rolled through on Monday. Embedded within some of those storms you could find even stronger wind gusts. Here's a graphic prepared by the NWS in Jackson.

The weather picture over the next couple of days will be much calmer. Temps will be down quite a bit compared to highs on Sunday & Monday. Most areas will have readings in the 50s before another big warm-up comes into play on Wednesday and Thursday.
