Missing Kentucky man found
Posted: 11:49 PM - Some good news tonight for the family of a Kentucky man that's been missing for more than two weeks.
The election slowed me down a little on Tuesday, but now I am back in my normal routine and that means I can devote this time to a post! By the way... if you have checked the numbers on our election page... that's what I had to do all night last night. Plug 'em in and post! I know it doesn't sound like hard work, but when you miss a number by just 1 you hear all about it and when you see about 50,000 numbers come down... they all start running together! I am happy it's all over and we can get back to normal.
The rain will hang around for another day. Basically, Thursday will feature more rain chances as this energy works towards the northeast. It will keep spreading showers into Kentucky up until Thursday night when some interesting things look to develop.

The NAM is a little slower than some of the others with the cold air arrival. Once the cold gets into town it is expected to yank on some moisture from the Great Lakes and bring the snow into our region. Not as agressive with this model.

The GFS Is VERY AGRESSIVE! A blend between these two will likely be the case. I think that we'll definitely see snow in our area and some of the coolest daytime highs we have seen in months! The highs temps that will change most of this over to rain on Friday afternoon will only be running in the low (if your lucky) mid 40s. The weekend will include overnight lows in the low to even mid 20s! HELLO WINTER!
Now to answer what most of you really came here to read! Will there be any accumulation?!?!?!?!? I wouldn't be shocked at all to see the higher elevations see some snow on the ground. It might never change to rain in some of those higher spots! As for the rest of us... cars, decks, sidewalks and other solid surfaces might get less than a dusting in extreme cases.
I'll update again on Thursday. I'll even throw in what the model is showing for accumulation... if the new runs show any! Either way I will throw it in on Thursday.
C-Ya Bye
