Really Warm Temps & More Rain
Posted: 10:38 PM The heaviest showers & storms missed us on Wednesday. It was like these storms were trying to take the best route from Louisville to Huntington. Basically they stayed on the same path as I-64.

Posted: 10:16 PM The cold stuff greeted us early on Monday morning. We even had some areas of patchy frost. The next thing we'll see will be the rain!
Posted: 10:05 PM The temps are set to take one heck of a dip for the weekend. I am talking super dip! We were all feeling the warmth of summer on Friday and by Sunday morning it will feel more like winter... well sort of!
Posted: 10:25 PM The heat will really take over on Friday. It will be very short lived as another weekend system will change the face of weather around here again!
Posted: 10:25 PM There is another system working towards KY and it might bring the folks in east KY a few showers or just sprinkles.
Posted: 9:56 PM After the weekend of heavy rains it is nice to see the sunshine. It was a gorgeous Tuesday all across KY. It's a simple thing like sunshine that keeps spirits up when so many are going through a tough time with high water.
Posted: 10:28 PM Many in our region were very fortunate and some were not! The rains kept coming until eventually... there was no more rain and the waters had reached very high points.
Posted: 8:20 PM So far... so good for the folks in the mountains!
Posted: 10:42 PM The possibility of strong or severe storms exists for the weekend. On top of that, we could see some pretty heavy rains.
Posted: 10:21 PM Once again folks acorss KY will need to prepare for showers & thunderstorms.
Posted: 9:47 PM Before we get too dry... the chills will be felt by most folks in eastern KY. The frosty conditions will develop overnight.
Posted: 10:08 PM The storms are gone, but the rain is still right here!
Posted: 9:43 PM The energy is ready to pop right over Kentucky. Other locations will likely see it much worse, but all signs are pointing to something decent for our area as well.
Posted: 10:08 PM The rain will begin in most areas early on Friday. There will be some breaks thrown into the mix, but it is the beginning of a very wet period!
Posted: 10:10 PM SHowers satrted moving into southern KY around noon and they spread across east KY. This isn't exactly what the doctor ordered, but it sure helps!
Posted: 9:53 PM The days have gotten much cooler since we wrapped up the last work week. We have entered a period that looks very familiar.
Posted: 10:36 PM I must have slipped off to sleep or something on Wednesday night. I had a post nearly finished and I have no clue where it is now?!?! Not that there was much going on... That will change a little!
Updated: 10:24 PM I know that the pattern is pretty slow out there. I also realize that we need something around here!
Posted: 10:01 PM We are in a set-up that looks like stroms take a detour. Just when it looks like we'll see a good one roll into KY it gets thrown off the path and into another.
Posted: 10:22 PM The weekend starts chilly but ends up awesome!
Posted: 10:00 PM This won't last forever... but it will hang around for a couple of days.
Posted: 9:57 PM The hot air that has built into KY will soon be deflated and replaced with some much cooler stuff!
Updated: 10:13 PM This week has featured some very strong storms and some forest fire activity. This will continue for a little while longer.
Posted: 10:00 PM This weekend won't be quite as warm as Friday, but overall it looks fairly decent. The sunshine will be filtered and temps will only cool down to levels that are normal for this time of year.
Posted: 9:57 PM This run has been awesome and I really don't see it changing significantly. The overall comfort level will stick around, but some "cooler" air will return for the weekend.
