Remember to Save Your Work... Oh Yeah... More Snow
Posted: 10:43 PM The snow has returned to the weather picture around here. Not that it is a big suprise!
Posted: 10:43 PM The snow has returned to the weather picture around here. Not that it is a big suprise!
Posted: 3:43 PM I have extended my snowfall forecast to include Saturday.
Posted: 10:33 PM I know that the weather in eastern Kentucky has been pretty calm here the last few days. I also realize that many of you are probably missing all that wintry weather from the last several weeks. So... here we go again! ;)
Updated: 3:36 PM A lot could change with this next snow producer.... but I think we are on track to see some accumulation.
Posted: 10:43 PM Just as many of you thought... winter hasn't had it's full run yet! That means more winter is coming and likely coming in a hurry!
Posted: 4:05 PM I was asked to come back over to the Sport, Boat, and RV Show. Here Iam with my good pal Morrison Stepp from the WYMT sales team.
Posted: 10:29 PM All data sets are not looking at this system the same way. All realize that something interesting is trying to develop. What? When? How much? Those are the questions that the data isn't agreeing on.
Posted: 10:45 PM If you are hoping for a quick warm-up that will resemble Bermuda or Bahama... You will have to leave the mountains. The cold is the only thing we know!
Posted: 12:10 AM Can't get this out of my head so I wanted to put it into yours!
Posted: 10:01 PM This has been a very snowy season and there is still plenty of time coming through!
Posted: 3:28 PM The main energy passed by yesterday and now we are waiting on this system to completely wrap-up. I am expecting more accumulation.
Posted: 10:35 PM The flow has been really consistent over the last few hours in most areas. This will likely continue through the overnight and into the day on Tuesday... maybe even longer!
Posted: 4:21 PM The snow is out there and you will all likely see develop tonight!
Posted: 11:05 PM If it hasn't started snowing in your area yet... hold on it is on the way!
Posted: 1:22 AM Sorry, as some of you know I am also dealing with some family issues right now so my post time has been cut. I'll give this to you brief and to the point!
Updated: 11:07 PM The next system will move in from West and spread snow to the east. It won't be quite that simple though... once it starts snowing it sticks around for a while!!!!
Posted: 3:44 PM I thought about it and I am going to post a first call graphic today.
Posted: 10:25 PM One system is out and another we are talking about the next one. This time we'll be watching a system develop for Sunday and hang around for a couple of days.
Updated: 2:56 PM The snow has stopped and the totals are in and it looks pretty decent for some and not so much for many others.
Updated: 10:32 PM The data is incomplete, but the record has already been broken. This season became the 3rd Snowiest on Record. With the possibility of more coming... it has a chance to hit number 2!
Posted: 5:37 PM The snow isn't slowing just yet! It keeps on coming through the night and into Thursday morning.
Posted: 10:36 PM It only took a few hours for a very light accumulation to show up on the sidewalks, grass, and spotty on the roads here in Hazard. With the temps dropping all night and more moisture coming.... we are in for a decent set-up for the snow.
Updated: 4:22 PM The cold air will begin rushing in this evening and tonight. This will change all the remaining moisture over to snow.
Posted: 8:28 PM The next big storm is on the radar and has some potential. The problem I have is the whole mess factor that goes along with this one.
Posted: 5:16 PM The wintry mess that the winter of 09/10 have given us continues this week.
