Posted: 10:47 PM Since I last posted anything here we have gone froma High Wind Watch to a High Wind Warning. This is a big weather mess for a big chunk of the country!
Updated: 11:30 PM Our weather pattern is looking very active over the next few days. We now have a High Wind Watch in effect... plus we could see some pretty heavy rains!
Posted: 8:34 AM Snow made it back to the mountains over the weekend. It was a beautiful wet snow.
Posted: 9:58 PM The system is getting cranked up and is on the way. I think most of us will see some snow, but the higher elevations could see the most accumulation.
Posted: 10:44 PM The cold arrived on a wet & windy note here in eastern Kentucky. When I went to bed it still felt nice outside. When I got up it was a completely different story.
Posted: 10:40 PM Just in time for the month that officially kicks off Winter... the temps are going to take a hit! The cold air will begin slipping into the region by Thursday.
Posted: 10:37 PM Hope everyone had a great holiday and an even better break from work if you were fortunate enough to have one. The weather picture truned rather cold with some light flakes for the holiday in some areas.
Posted: 11:06 PM I'll give you a brief post and I will have another on Friday morning.
Posted: 10:38 PM The cold air is beginning to settle in and now all we need is the moisture to make this forecast pan out. All indications are still there and will likely be coming our way on Thursday night into Friday.
Posted: 10:18 PM The nice seasonable weather that we have experienced here lately will soon come to an end. A real solid shot of some much cooler air will begin to invade by later this week.
Posted: 10:31 PM Since last week we have been discussing the potential for some wintry weather around Thanksgiving. This still seems to be the case as the new data comes in it keeps the same old story.
Updated: 11:34 PM Once again it is time for me to give you my best bet on what winter will bring around here. I like to say that a lot of this is for entertainment. It is also a mess I have been working on for a few weeks. I hope you enjoy!
Posted: 6:33 AM It has been a slow race getting here, but we are getting close to that big issue in the forecast. Snow by the end of the week?
Posted: 10:34 PM The weekend looks very tricky and next week is still interesting.
Posted: 11:01 PM The area of low pressure that has kept the clouds around this week is finally on the way out. This will just open the door for some other things coming this weekend. By the way... I'll also be talking about next week!
Updated: 10:31 PM I couldn't resist the title. That's pretty much the theme of the week here! An area of low pressure just keeps on spinning out to our west. So far, nothing majore with the rainfall. I am beginning to get a little concerned!
Posted: 10:02 PM We had our selves another outstanding November weekend here in Kentucky. Daytime highs around 70 and plenty of sunshine! I don't quite think we'll be able to make it again this coming weekend though.
Posted: 10:30 PM I'll certainly talk about the really warm stuff that we have coming up over the next few days. I'll also put a little more time into this post and show you where we could be going once the warm stuff runs dry!
Posted: 10:36 PM The temps that we have all grwon to love will be back very soon. It's still a day or two away, but it will be here and it will likely stick around for a while.
Posted: 10:12 PM The moisture made it into Kentucky. Once it stops raining... it looks like we'll be all dry & mild for a few days.
Posted: 10:39 PM It was some weekend out there. If you were outside for just a few minutes I know you had to like at least some of what was going on out there. This might hold true again for next weekend. Getting there will be the issue!
Posted: 10:34 PM The warmer temps are set to move into the region. We'll have a few days to enjoy the sunny skies and mild temps.
Posted: 10:04 PM We have made it to the end of the road for the cooler stuff. It now looks like highs will begin to climb very soon.
Posted: 9:34 PM Temps have stayed on a pretty level path over the last few days. Sure there have been some small downhill runs, but the next really solid one will really be noticable.
