A recent WYMT on-line poll shows more than 47% of those responding are satisfied with their health care coverage. But, nearly 52% are either not satisfied with their coverage or can not afford to buy health insurance.
This poll is not a scientific sample of public opinion. It simply represents the views of the 502 people that voted in our poll.

I find the results especially interesting when you compare the numbers to a recent poll regarding a public option. More than 70% of those responding in that poll said they were not in favor of a government run public option. 548 people voted in that survey. There is no way to determine if the same group of people participated in both polls.
Still, it is a starting point for conversation. I would like to hear your opinions. Let me what you think and I’ll share your comments here on the blog.
As always, thanks for making WYMT-TV your source for news and information. We appreciate your trust.
