Governor Beshear’s Weekly Address: Tackling Kentucky’s Dropout Problem

Last year more than 6,000 Kentucky students dropped out of school. An even more startling statistic is the fact that more than one-fourth of Kentucky adults have less than a high school education. The Governor and First Lady will kick off a statewide initiative to tackle this problem.

This week Governor Steve Beshear and First Lady Jane Beshear discuss Graduate Kentucky.

The Governor and First Lady will kick off a statewide initiative to tackle this problem during an inaugural dropout prevention summit in Frankfort on September 11th and 12th.
