President Obama’s weekly address: Iran will be held accountable

President Obama issued a warning to Iran regarding a secret nuclear facility. But Iran has not budged. In fact, today Iran wrapped up a two-day show of miliarty might by test firing missles capable of carrying warheads up to 1,200 miles.

President Barack Obama says Iran must take action to demonstrate its peaceful intentions following the discovery of a covert nuclear facility.  The President says if Iran does not fulfill its responsibilities, it well be held accountable by the world’s nations.

Iran, so far, hasn't budged.  At a news conference in New York, Iranian President Mahmoud
Ahmadinejad said his country had done nothing wrong and Obama would
regret his actions.

Today Iran capped off a two-day show of military might by test firing
missiles capable of carrying warheads and reaching up to 1,200 miles, putting Israel and U.S. military bases in the Middle East in
range.  The tests come days before meetings between Iran and six world powers trying to stop its suspected nuclear weapons program.

Britain says today's test further illustrates why Europe and the U.S. have serious concerns about Iran's nuclear intentions. And France called it a
provocation.

Are you concerned about Iran’s nuclear potential?  How should America respond? Let me know your thoughts.
