Secretary of State Trey Grayson is my guest Monday October 26th on Issues & Answers: The Mountain Edition. Grayson is seeking the Republican nomination for the U.S. Senate. What would you like to ask the Trey Grayson? I’ll use some of you questions when I sit down with the Secretary of State to tape the show Tuesday morning.

Grayson and Dr. Rand Paul are getting most of the headlines in a Republican Primary that is garnering some national attention.
This is not the way Grayson envisioned the race. Grayson expected to waltz through the Primary on his way to a showdown in November with either Lieutenant Governor Daniel Mongiardo or State Attorney General Jack Conway.
But last week, the third quarter fundraising reports show Paul outraised Grayson by $368,000. From July 1 to September 30 Paul raised $1,011,000, nearly doubling the $643,000 raised by Grayson who enjoys the support of Senate Minority LeaderMitch McConnell and the Republican Party establishment.
Grayson points out that he has raised more money than Paul overall and that 92% of his contributions came from inside Kentucky. Grayson's campaign has raised around $1,245,992 overall compared to $1,121,693 for the Paul campaign.
Three other candidates are also running in the Republican Primary; Bill Johnson, Brian Douglas Oerther, and Roger Thoney.
