Kentucky’s Democratic Primary for U.S. Senate is getting a lot of media attention these days but it’s not for the candidate’s position on the issues.
Earlier this week Daniel Mongiardo’s campaign accused his chief rival with “dirty political tricks”. Jack Conway's campaign responded by calling it a bunch of “YouTube silliness”.

Mongiardo’s campaign maintains it has proof that Conway’s campaign was either directly or indirectly involved in the production of that YouTube video. Conway’s campaign flatly denied the allegations.
Kim Geveden issued this response to Conway’s denial. “That is a blatant falsehood. It is shameful that our Attorney General, the state’s highest elected law enforcement official, is misleading the public about his campaign’s involvement in putting this on YouTube. If he does not know, then he’s clueless and his campaign is out of control.”
To which Charles Halloran responded for the Conway campaign, “We don’t have evidence of anything, and our guys are still looking under the grassy knoll. We’ll get back to you when they find something definitive.”
