Senator Jim Bunning says he’ll do everything he can to retire Federal Reserve Chairman Ben Bernanke. Bunning was the only Senator to vote against Bernanke four years ago. During Thursday’s Banking Committee Hearing on the nomination of Ben Bernanke, Bunning called the Fed Chief “the definition of a moral hazard” and said his time as the Federal Reserve Chairman has been a “failure.”
“The AIG bailout alone is reason enough to send you back to Princeton,” Bunning said, referring to where Bernanke taught economics for 17 years.
