President Barack Obama says if banks can afford millions of dollars in executive bonuses, banks can afford to pay back taxpayers who bailed out the financial institutions.

President Obama says if banks can afford millions of dollars in executive bonuses, banks can afford to pay back taxpayers who bailed out the financial institutions.

In his weekly address, the President pitches a proposed tax on banks to recover the cost of the bailout during the financial crisis.
