Republicans are calling on the Afghan government to match the U.S. commitment to stabilize the country.

In the party’s weekly radio and Internet address, Delaware Representative Mike Castle says Afghanistan needs to expand its army and security forces to prevent the region from serving as a safe haven for terrorists. 

Castle just returned from a trip to the country.
