Republicans say President Obama’s administration has a “blind spot” when it comes to fighting terrorism. Maine Senator Susan Collins says the Nigerian accused of trying to blow up an airliner on Christmas Day should have been treated as an enemy combatant, not an “ordinary criminal”.
