South Carolina Senator Lindsey Graham says putting “hard-core terrorists’ on trial in civilian courts is “unnecessarily dangerous” and “creates more problems than it solves.” 

Graham used his party’s weekly radio and Internet address to talk about his bill to stop suspected terrorists at Guantanamo from being brought to the United States to face a civilian trial. Graham is pushing military tribunals for the accused 9/11 plotters and other suspected terrorists. 

The Obama administration appears to be reconsidering a decision to try the professional mastermind and four others in civilian court in New York.
