President Barack Obama is turning up the political heat on behalf of his health care reform package.
The President used his weekly radio and Internet address to try and sway wavering Democrats to get on board.
The President rejected Republican calls to scrap the plan and start over, saying the plan he’s put forward would “end the worst practices of the insurance company” and lower cost for millions of Americans.
Republicans refuse to be swayed saying the plan must be stopped.
In the GOP address, Alabama Congressman Parker Griffith says Republicans must stop “a government takeover of health care.”
