(AP) President Barack Obama is predicting big things for his student loan overhaul.
In his weekly radio and Internet address, he says it will help launch U.S. college graduation rates back to the top worldwide, and save money in the process.
Obama is expected to sign the education bill into law Tuesday. The President says it will provide more student lending, caps on repayments and more money for minority colleges and universities.
Democrats in the House succeeded in linking the education bill with the health care overhaul over stiff Republican objections.
President Obama says the achievements show "what's possible when we can come together to overcome the politics of the moment."
