Republicans are accusing President Barack Obama of raising taxes and expanding government too much with the health care bill and other initiatives.
In the GOP weekly radio and Internet address, Arizona Senator Jon Kyl notes that taxes will rise Jan. 1, when former President George W. Bush's tax cuts expire.
Kyl says reining in Washington spending and keeping taxes manageable are two Republican ideas that allow small businesses and American families to save, invest and plan for the future.
The President wants to extend Bush's tax cuts, except for individuals making more than $200,000 a year and couples making $250,000.
