MSNBC’s Chuck Todd and company suggest a Rand Paul win in the May Primary gives Democrats a path for victory in November. Here is what they say on MSNBC’s First Read.

I have to give credit where credit is due.  I picked this tidbit up on Joe Arnold’s WHAS-TV political blog.

MSNBC’s Chuck Todd and company suggest a Rand Paul win in the May Primary gives Democrats a path for victory in November.  Here is what they say on MSNBC’s First Read.

Kentucky (unranked) -- We could put other races here (CA, NH, OH even FL), but this month we’re going with the Bluegrass State. Democrats do have a path for victory here, especially if Rand Paul wins in the GOP primary in May. What will be fascinating is Mitch McConnell's reaction to a Paul victory; he can be a tad vengeful.

Here is the response from Rand Paul’s Campaign.

"Rand leads all polling in both the primary and general elections. Kentucky voters are ready for balanced budgets, term limits, strong national defense and for someone to go to Washington D.C. to stop Obama and his EPA's war on coal. MSNBC appears to have been misinformed."

- David Adams, Campaign Manager

I am waiting for a response from Trey Grayson’s campaign.

What do you think about MSNBC's prediction?  Let me know your thoughts.
