A Republican congressman from Michigan says
In the weekly GOP radio and Internet address, Rep. Pete Hoekstra says said University of Michigan graduates should use President Barack Obama's commencement speech Saturday to ask where the jobs are.
Hoekstra says Obama's weekend address to the class of 2010 is an opportunity "to show the president, firsthand, the painful plight of the people of Michigan."
Hoekstra says many of the graduates Obama addresses will soon learn how tough it is to find a job in this economy. He adds that the share of young Americans out of work is the highest it's been in more than 50 years.
Michigan has had an overall unemployment rate of about 14 percent recently.
I will post the President's commencement speech on my next blog.
