5th District Congressman Hal Rogers blasted the EPA during a speech on the House Floor.
Roger’s referred to a Congressional Report last week which stated the EPA is putting 18,000 Appalachian coal mining jobs at risk. That’s roughly one in four coal jobs across the region.
Rogers called on President Obama to “tell the EPA to stop its political attacks on coal. Now is the time to put politics aside so thousands of citizens in Appalachia can return to work.”
