Freedom is never free; it is paid for with the blood of patriots and heroes.
I want to take time this Memorial Day holiday to say “Thank You” to all of our Veterans for their sacrifice to protect our freedoms. And to those families that paid the ultimate sacrifice, words can never express our appreciation.
I hope you will take time this Memorial Day to personally say “Thank You” to a Veteran. Let’s also remember to keep our troops and their families in our daily prayers. They need our support.
Here are some videos to honor the memory of those who gave all for this great nation.
Kathy Troccoli - Psalm 23
LeAnn Rimes - Amazing Grace
Jo Dee Messina - If Heaven Was Needing A Hero
Dustin Evans - If I Die Before You Wake
Casting Crowns - Praise You in This Storm
Memorial Day - A Tribute
Colin Raye - A Soldier's Prayer
A Soldier's Prayer - The Poem
---
Psalm 23
The LORD is my shepherd, I shall not want.
He makes me lie down in green pastures,
He leads me beside quiet waters,
He restores my soul.
He guides me in paths of righteousness
for His name's sake.
Even though I walk
through the valley of the shadow of death,
I will fear no evil,
for You are with me;
Your rod and your staff,
they comfort me.
You prepare a table before me
in the presence of my enemies.
You anoint my head with oil;
my cup overflows.
Surely goodness and mercy will follow me
all the days of my life,
and I will dwell in the house of the LORD
forever.
