Perry County cleaning up after flashing flood
Posted: 6:00 PM - Heavy rains caused major problems in the Perry County community of Big Creek, after flash flooding swept away cars and flooded an elementary school.
A new WHAS11/Courier Journal Bluegrass Poll shows Rand Paul with a 6-point lead over State Attorney General Jack Conway.
The poll, conducted by Survey USA, was an automated phone survey of 569 likely voters. Paul holds a 51percent to 45 percent advantage. Only four percent said they were undecided.
Rand Paul (R) 51%
Jack Conway (D) 45%
Undecided 4%
The polls shows Paul’s strongest leads are in Western and North-Central Kentucky. Conway leads in eastern Kentucky. Central Kentucky is up for grabs.

This poll comes on the heels of a new Public Policy Polling report which shows Conway leads Paul by 40-points among moderates.
Conway leads Paul 60 percent to 20 percent among moderates.
