'The Sopranos' mobster James Gandolfini has died
1 mins ago - James Gandolfini, the actor who played Tony Soprano, has died at age 51.
Democratic candidate for State Agriculture Commissioner Bob Farmer is apologizing for using painful stereotypes of inbred and toothless people to poke fun Eastern Kentuckians.
The comments were made several years ago during a comedy routine in Indiana.
Republican challenger, James Comer, posted the video on his YouTube page Tuesday and notified local media outlets. The Kentucky Republican Party immediately called on the state Democratic Party to renounce Farmer’s remarks.

In the video, Farmer says Eastern Kentucky is “altogether different over there.”
Here are some of the excerpts: “It’s a place where cars are on blocks and houses are on wheels.”
“You know how come the FBI won’t do any work down in this county?” “No, why?” … “Cause all the DNA is alike and there ain’t no dental records.”
Farmer says Eastern Kentuckians don’t trust him because, “I had shoes on, I got all my teeth.”
Farmer, best known as the spokesman for the Farmer’s Almanac, apologized in an interview with the Lexington Herald Leader.
“I apologize if it offends anyone, I don’t want to offend people.”
But in the interview, Farmer also questioned the timing of the Internet ad.
“When did they lose their sense of humor, when I got 15 points ahead?”
Comer says the video was taken from Bob Farmer’s personal website.
