GOP Congresswoman: No budget, no pay

Republican Congresswoman Susan Brooks say Democrats must get serious about the nation's spending problems and pass a budget.

Indiana’s freshman Congresswoman Susan Brooks blasted Democrats for not producing a budget.

Brooks called it a “failure to lead” in the Republican weekly address.

She said Democrats must get serious about the nation’s spending problems.

“For too long, the Democratic majority in Washington has failed to see the value in this sound model of working hard and living within your means.

Brooks is calling on Democrats to pass a budget.

“It’s been nearly four years since Senate Democrats last passed a budget, 1,375 days to be exact.”

Brooks says she is proud to back the “No Budget, No Pay Act,” which in nutshell means if Congress doesn’t pas a budget they don’t get paid.
