Perry County cleaning up after flashing flood
Posted: 6:00 PM - Heavy rains caused major problems in the Perry County community of Big Creek, after flash flooding swept away cars and flooded an elementary school.
Republicans are dismissing President Barack Obama’s State of the Union Address as nothing more than a call for bigger government, more spending and more tax increases.
Republicans are vowing to promote economic growth to help middle-class families find good jobs.
Florida Senator Marco Rubio delivered the Republican response.
Kentucky Republican Senator Rand Paul delivered the Tea Party response.
Here is what Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell had to say.
5th District Congressman Hal Rogers issued this written statement.
"Tonight’s speech was another, tired rendition by this President for even bigger government, job stifling regulations that hurt our job creators, and boneheaded policies that weaken the prosperity and economic opportunity of all Kentuckians."
