Republicans continue the fight against the health care overhaul one year after it became law.
In the weekly Republican address, Virginia Governor Robert McDonnell says the law is overly burdensome for states and businesses. McDonnell said the law, as is, "simply will not work."
He says it should be replaced with free-market policies that lower costs and increase coverage. Among the examples he cited are lawsuit reform and letting consumers buy health insurance across state lines.
A majority of states, including Virginia, are challenging the law’s constitutionality in the courts.
