Posted: 3:57 PM My wife and I love hosting parties and cookouts at our house. This means that several times a month we have anywhere from 10-20 people in our home. We have people in our backyard playing games, people in our kitchen having snacks, and people in our living room hanging out and talking.

If you missed it, that article was basically a 600ish word rant about how, for the most part, I view social media as a joke and want to be a better steward of the platforms God has given me.

Updated: 4:53 PM We all have those friends, and I use the term loosely. When you see their name on the caller ID you immediately roll your eyes and think, "What now?" They are emotionally draining. They seem to take the life out of everyone they are around.

Updated: 10:41 AM My wife and I don’t have children yet. However, once a week we have the privilege of meeting with four other couples, two of which have 16-month-old little girls. So each Tuesday night we get to enjoy the fun of having these little girls around us, without any of the stress.

We listen to their tragic story, and then the dilemma arises…. What do we say? How do we react? What can we possibly do to make things better for them?

Posted: 10:49 AM I spent the better part of 8 or so years on a path that lead me straight to drug addiction. I could spend this whole post blaming this or that for why I became an addict but the truth is this, I chose the path I was on. At one point or another I made the decisions that put me where I was.
