I am hearing a lot of our clients talk about social media. And because it is free businesses are trying to figure out how to use social media to keep their name in front of their customers. To say social media is abuzz with people talking about it is an understatement and Buzz is a good term for social media. It only takes one question on a social media site with just a few fans/followers to get people bussing about with comments and pictures. Speaking of Buzz Google just came out with Buzz to get into the social media game. They are going up against three behemoths in Facebook, Myspace and Twitter. When I heard that Google was coming out with Buzz I started to roll my eyes thinking all we need is another social media site. But then a split second later I realized this is Google who has millions of people with Gmail accounts. An easy transition to draw in their Gmail users and yes I have signed up with Buzz. I am just now digging into how to use it. Simple is the word that I will use to describe the layout and user functionality. Few is the word I will use to describe what I am seeing as the number of people I know who are using it. That will change because I am starting to see more if the Buzz logo showing up on sites. Have you used Buzz yet? What has been your experience? Let me know your thoughts.
