Through my daily travels on the internet I come across many websites. About 90% are useless but it is the 10% that I come across that peak my interest. One of them I wanted to share with you is TED.com. If you’re a thinker and want to know about trends and where the movers and shakers in our world are directing us then you need to spend time on TED.com. On their site in the about section this is how they describe the project; “TED is a small nonprofit devoted to Ideas Worth Spreading. It started out (in 1984) as a conference bringing together people from three worlds: Technology, Entertainment, Design. Since then its scope has become ever broader. Along with the annual TED Conference in Long Beach, California, and the TEDGlobal conference in Oxford UK, TED includes the award-winning TEDTalks video site, the Open Translation Program, the new TEDx community program, this year's TEDIndia Conference and the annual TED Prize.” It is amazing to see the topics that are on this site and the brilliant people who are participating.
