  • Interview Digital transition Expert – Mike Kanarek - 8 Comments Posted
Last week I went on a rant about delaying the Digital transition. This week I am interviewing WKYT’s resident expert on the Digital Transition, Mike Kanarek. Mike happened to read my blog post from last week and he corrected some on the language I used so I thought why not lay it all out on the table and talk about what our viewers are facing. As most of you know the digital transition has been delayed until June 12th. (Read Blog)

  • The Digital Delay is not a good idea!(My personal opinion, not necessarily a view held by our station) - Post Your Comments!
I can’t believe we are going to delay the switch over from Analog to Digital television from February17th until June. Why are we delaying the transition? • Ice Storm Refugee - Post Your Comments!
Day three with no power at home and I still can’t complain. Being a guy who has the “glass is half full” attitude, the only thing I can say is that this could be worse. • Black Friday! - 1 Comments Posted
Well Christmas is here weather I like it or not. I love the name of the first shopping day after Thanksgiving, Black Friday. It sounds sinister but the all it means is that retailers see this as the first day to operate in the Black. Some bean counter must have thought this one up. What happened this morning? The Alarm clock goes off at 4:30 am so my wife can join the stampede of shoppers who are looking for bargains and hard to find items. (Read Blog)
