Bowling Green offers a great atmosphere and strong case for anyone who likes high school football to make the trip to the KHSAA Commonwealth Gridiron Bowl. One of the biggest reasons is the L.T. Smith Houchens Football Stadium. The stadium is very conducive to high school football, with seating for nearly 25,000 people and a fan friendly view from anywhere inside it.  Papa Johns Stadium in Louisville is a fine facility with a great press box but only the media get the advantage of enjoying this luxury. The Houchens stadium has more of a close knit feel for the fans and the players from the 12 participating schools.
Parking at L.T. Smith Houchens Stadium is ample and very convenient. If you arrive early you should find a spot nearby in one of the parking structures next to the stadium. If you drive in from the campus main entrance you will find a very large lot on the left prior to the baseball field. WKU will be in session on Friday so allow for students to be going to class.
Tickets are available in advance at each of the participating schools and at L.T. Smith Houchens Stadium ticket windows each day of the state championships. There are plenty of great seats left so head on down to Bowling Green to see some great football action.

Catch all the games on WVLK FM 101.5 AND on the internet at KHSAA.ORG .
