Posted: 10/31/2008 - In Class a Football the Frankfort High Panthers are having a great season under Coach Craig Foley. The Panthers are 6 & 1 and ranked #3 in Class A behind Beechwood and Raceland. The Royals are ranked as high as #4 in the Class AAA poll in Kentucky High School Football. Coach Jewell said his team really came together in a tough win on the road. Corbin has always had a rich tradition in high school sports and now the Redhounds are off to a 7 and 0 starts in 2008.

Madison Central, a Team to Watch in 6A Football

Posted: 10/07/2008 - The Madison Central Indians are primed for a big run in football through Class 6A. Kenny Turner has the Indians believing they can compete with anyone in the big class. He certainly seems to have the players to back it up for 2008. Star Running Back Keyshawn Simpson is back after sitting out last year out with a leg injury, and Isaiah Cavanaugh returns as well. Central has many more weapons as this football season unfolds. Zach Coldiron is the new Quarterback taking over for Chaz Hope who graduated. Coldiron does a good job running the offense behind a huge offensive line. The O-line is anchored by all-state lineman Larry Warford at 6-6 and 300 pounds. Warford has already committed to play for Kentucky next year.
