The annual US 127 Yard Sale was a big hit! As I said last week it’s become a tourism draw for the state. Not only are hotel rooms hard to get but restaurant’s are full that week too! Anyone get any cool stuff on the cheap? Last year I bought some old vinyl music and resold it for double about a week later! Hope everyone that visited the 127 yard sale found their own little piece of Americana or Kentucky!
Check out this website! Did you guys remember that Duncan Hines, the man, was from Bowling Green? He started off as a hotel/motel/restaurant reviewer/critic! An actual dude! After Duncan got some name recognition, a cake flour company asked him to endorse their cake mix, he said it was so good that he would put his name on it, and the rest is history. His real cook books and diary are on exhibit in Bowling Green! The Bengal’s are training in Georgetown this summer. Make an after school trip to see them practice. http://www.bengalscamp.com/
