Well it’s here! Halloween and all that comes with it, the Kentucky State Parks and lots of local communities have prepared for sometime now to entertain family’s. From haunted trails, campgrounds and lodges to cartoon’ish, child friendly events at Jellystone; we can all find something fun and spooky to do this weekend!
Bet you didn’t know that our Kentucky State Parks are also offering, canoeing for beginner’s classes, up close and ‘smelly” tours of the Elk in their habitat and animal education classes all across the state. The website for more information is www.parks.ky.us .
Georgetown is also hosting a great event this weekend. Friday will be “spooktacular Day” in G’town. That city always puts a great festival and event on, so give it a try too! Frankfort will be hosting guests at their Historic sites check out www.libertyhall.org/ . Ward Hall, the fantastic old mansion in Scott County will be available to tour this weekend too!
