Well, actually it’s a big month for Christmas parades and tree lightings and everything that goes along with those events, obviously! Frankfort, the Capital City will celebrate its Christmas tradition with a parade this Saturday . Local businesses will offer open houses this Saturday there too!. Lots of other Kentucky retailers and handcrafting artisans’ will have their wares available statewide. This really is the time that our artist’s make their money and pay their bills for the year!

Southern Lights at the Ky. Horse Park continues, Ashland, Kentucky’s famous Festival of Trees is now open and ready for you! Land Between the Lakes is offering again, its ever popular Eagle viewing tours in West Kentucky!... Midway, will have its annual holiday open house December 13^th and 14^th! Train rides in Versailles continue too!

Let’s see, Northern Kentucky merchants will open their doors this weekend to us all. The Governor and First Lady will light up the official state tree at the Capitol after the Frankfort parade around 9pm. A little late but hey, its Holiday season right? The Governor and First Lady will host folks at the Mansion on Dec. 10^th at 2pm. Its a great opportunity to visit with the Governor and Mrs. Beshear and to see the inside of the Mansion.
