Well the cats aren’t going to the big dance but they are going to be playing at home, their old home, I am going to the game just so I can say I saw UK play in Memorial Coliseum. Let’s make the best out of this gang! The Cards are the Dance’s No. 1 seeded team. Congrats to Ricky and the Cards! Coming into Lexington for either the Cats game or the boys Sweet 16? If so do some cool stuff like the capitol tours in Frankfort, the Mary Todd Lincoln home, the UK arboretum and that’s just a couple of things. Oh, yea don’t forget about Fort Boonsboro State Park.
Spring Break is breaking out, get it? all around us……..check me out on Wednesday’s edition of WKYT’s “Afternoon’ show. I’ll be talking about ideas for SB that maybe we haven’t thought about since we were kids. Consider visiting a little town in the commonwealth for a cheeseburger too. Remember several months ago we talked about main street “KY” and how fun they can be…..EDU’TAINMENT I believe we called that mindset. Teach your kids about the state and they will thank you for it the next time they are in a trivia contest or history class!
Easter and Mother’s Day and Derby and other festive holidays are approaching! Make plans now to treat mom well and entertain derby guests. As always, use Kentucky proud products, when you do you support Agri-Tourism and other Industry’s. Check out the new Kentucky proud store at the Civic Center in Lexington. It’s a tremendous place to visit. Practically all of our products in one place, Saturday there were folks from everywhere in there shopping.
As I always say, send in your comments and stories and I’ll post them here. Comments go in the comment area below.
