Beverage group: 18 mayors wrong on sugary drinks
Posted: 06/18/2013 - The American Beverage Association says efforts by the mayors of 18 cities to stop food stamps from being used to buy sugary drinks won't make the nation healthier.
This weekend the annual Mnt. Laurel Festival in Bell County happens…It will be centered in and around Pine Mnt. State Resort Park! Pretty girls, good food, golf and a homecoming of sorts I guess too! www.parks.ky.gov/

I am going to Eastern Kentucky for a few days this week. I am going to Video shoot several locations that are often requested by The Weather Channel, CNN, Travel Channel, The Food Network and more…………… we’ll be in Hazard, Harlan, Bell Co., Richmond, Berea and looks like 21 other locals!
This past Saturday I ran in the Thin Mint Sprint 5k. I didn’t do as well as I wanted to……….but it was respectable………Tony Crockett did real well, he ran it in about 27 ½ minutes. So good for him!
