First, I want to tell you what a great Saturday I had over in Danville at The Great American Brass Band Festival. I drove over Saturday around 1pm and stayed for a couple of hours. Huge crowds, lots of fun, really was great to see all the out of state license plates!!!!!!!!!!!! Florida, Louisiana, Tennessee, W. Virginia and many more!

 You all know I love to play golf so, I want to get the word out on some golf courses that maybe we haven’t heard about recently, maybe there are some courses that have redesigned or upgraded! Let us all know where they are and what is cool about them! Put the details in the comments area at the bottom. I particularly like General Burnside State Park…….it’s terrific!   Now, on to food! You knew I would get there at some point! Ha ha ha. Since its Father’s Day weekend; BBQ and Relaxation are the key words! I am also really interested in finding out where you guys like to eat good BBQ! Its okay to give a plug for your favorite, that’s really how the tourism thing works. Word of mouth! I won’t choose a favorite myself, but I will tell you I like mutton with a –not to hot- sauce! Mutton is more of a Western Kentucky deal I know, any mutton around here? Let us know where your favorites are…..it will be fun to see how many  responses we get! Also, State Parks have great things going on for Father’s Day weekend!
