Police turn to waiting tables in fundraiser for slain officer
Posted: 10:58 PM - Officers turned to waiting tables as a way to show their support for the family of murdered Bardstown police officer, Jason Ellis.
We all have state fair memories and honestly some of those memories may be not be all that positive! Ha Ha. Like the time me and my fraternity brothers went to see Hank Williams and Willie Nelson in 1984 WOW!!!!!!!!!!!! It’s all I can say! Surely people aren’t still acting those buddy’s of mine any more are they?
The Kentucky State Fair is the nation’s largest air conditioned state fair! (The most air conditioned space) You know what’s interesting? Lots of families use the state fair as a center point for family get togethers! Using the state fair to re-connect with family and friends is a great idea! I work our Tourism booth usually a couple of days during the schedule, not sure when my days are yet for this year!
My favorite state fair activity is without question….People Watching! Some people like the quilts, music, fried food (That’s my second choice) Some people like the sales pavilion where you can find all that “as seen on TV” stuff. Mine: People Watching!!!!!!!!!!!! Ha. Visit the State fair August 20-30th!
