Great weekend! I got into lot’s of stuff this past weekend….saw lots of  friends that I haven’t seen for months, watched a game or two, had some Ky.  Bourbon Ale and more cool things! Friday kicks off ONE YEAR to the opening of The World Equestrian Games in 2010! www.alltechfeigames.com

This week the Second Annual Secretariat Festival happens in Paris! Hopefully the  winner of the Big Red look-a-like contest gets to play Secretariat in the movie! The World Chicken Festival happens this week in London! Go! GO! GO! All the actors from Dukes of Hazzard will be there and of course fried chicken and the General Lee, probably lots of G.L.’s! http://www.chickenfestival.com/

Most central Kentucky orchards and u-picks are open and ready for you all! Stop into one and get some fresh produce, honey, sorghum and other great things….Cheese, crackers, a bottle of Ky. wine, some country ham and little biscuits….. Sounds like a great Saturday afternoon tailgate at Commonwealth to me!
