I think this weekend kicks off the holidays in a big way! Of course there is football but there is a bunch of Halloween 5k run/walk events all across the Bluegrass! Great one in Frankfort! Halloween corn fields, festivals and other events really can entertain the family for little money and impress the out of towners too!

Churchill Downs gets geared up this week, take a short trip to Louisville and see some races at “Church” as they say! Ha ha. You can incorporate several really cool things while there…..bourbon bistro, a night at the Galt house and some comedy at the improve!

The leaves continue to change in the Bluegrass state, 70-90% foliage out there I would guess. I went to Natural Bridge Saturday and got a cabin for the evening. Really nice afternoon and evening once the rain got out. A little hike, grilled out and enjoyed some football on TV! Try it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
