This past weekend we experienced some rain, but the latter part of the weekend was terrific! Trick or Treating was fun, not much tricking though; just fun with friends and good food! Wasn’t Saturday great 4 U too? Keeneland finished up their meet. Poor weather almost all meet wasn’t good, but the staff makes the best of it for sure!
Elk, eagle and beginner backpacking classes are in full swing throughout The State Parks system. Pine Mnt. will host an Elk event, Eagles in Western Kentucky and Natural Bridge welcomes those folks interested in backpacking and what goes into that activity! The leaves are almost all gone; some remain so I’ll call it ONE more week of Fall Foliage!
Holly Hill Inn celebrates 30 years of fine food and hospitality this week! What a job Quita and Chris and everyone at HHI do every time I visit! We are lucky to have them here! The Kentucky Book Fair is this weekend……Frankfort convention center 9am-4pm! Always a treat! Pouring for the pantry at Equus Run Vineyard is this weekend, it is always packed so plan early to take that in! www.equusrunvineyards.com
