The Breeders Cup, although not in Kentucky this year was a success, it’ll be here next here, Hooray! Frankfort’s Annual Candlelight Tours begin this Thursday and continue through the weekend. The State’s Arsenal Museum is reopening just in time for Veteran’s Day celebrations!

Got to run into some of you all at the UK-EKU game Saturday! Tremendous weather, it was perfect really. Facebook has done wonders for  many people using it as a tool to re-acquaint. Come over to the Cap. City and visit! Be on the look-out for community Christmas Parades. I say this because they are an inexpensive way to get the kids excited and to see a different part of the state.

This coming weekend I am going to go visit Cumberland Falls, getting a cottage and  just chilling out. Consider that type of last minute thing if you can. Last minute or spur of the moment get-a-way’s are the most fun. Get two or three couples together and visit a state resort park and get a cottage!

Check out Shaker Village at Pleasant Hill too this season, always beautiful!
