Last week served up many great Christmas events in the Bluegrass. Frankfort hosted their Candlelight Tours, lots of community happenings in Eastern Kentucky and the Somerset area too! Way to go if you visited any of those like I did! www.kentuckytourism.com This weekend I am thinking Cumberland Falls or Pine Mnt. State resort parks; to get a cottage and relax. Maybe even 18 holes if the sun is out. You do know that our State Parks have Gift Cards that make it easy to get that someone “who has everything” something they can enjoy? Golf, dining, cottages, lodge rooms, gift shop you name it. Great Christmas Gift idea!

 Okay Thursday night I stopped into Rebecca Ruth Chocolates to get  A Bourbon Ball hot chocolate drink!  (Speechless) Just make some hot chocolate and then put a Bourbon Ball in it, let it melt and you’ll be speechless! http://rebeccaruth.stores.yahoo.net/index.html  Take the family out for Thanksgiving, as part of your Kentucky “homecoming” this season.
