This time of year we really try hard over here to keep the travelling public informed about the different, unique and sometimes forgotten attractions and destinations in the Commonwealth! Now that we are (have been) in the “snow go” school reporting phase for a while, let’s not forget about cool things to do when the kiddos are out of school on a snowy day.
Many times we forget that we have great museums, history centers and other indoor destinations that kids would love to see when their classes are cancelled. Look, visiting Kentucky’s educational spots during snow days, get kids out of the house, educates them, provides wholesome activities and guess what? THE KIDS MIGHT JUST HAVE FUN AND LEARN SOMETHING!
For the more adventurous peeps how about Eagle Watches, Elk Viewing or possibly a Buffalo Night dinner at a KY. State Resort Park! Hearty weather lends itself to hearty dinners, fires in the fireplace and family time together! Come on now! Enjoy! Check out these links for the kids and for yourself if you are looking for something to do on cold, nasty and otherwise boring days at home!
and for the older folks…….

Buckle up, slow down and get there in one piece!
