Alright, so you know I was traveling through eastern Kentucky last week! Let me give you all an overview of what all that meant! I, along with several other folks went To Hazard, Harlan, Berea, Mt. Sterling, Prestonsburg and 17 other cities touting the upcoming Alltech FEI World Equestrian Games. We held press conferences all week. As many as five each day! The week was filled with great food, cool peeps and great weather! One day we ventured into Knoxville and did some ESPN radio with my old buddy Jason Bailey! Mt. Sterling had us for the night and we ate dinner at “Terry and Kathy’s”………you gotta go! It was great. Right downtown! Thanks to Tracey Pierce and her husband for hosting us! Alvin Sharpe in Williamsburg treated us better than we deserved too! Really every city was my pleasure to visit! Thanks to Nancy in Winchester; She had a great crowd for us! Niki and Lauren did great work for Lexington. This week the Mountain Laurel Festival gets going in Pineville so take a trip! Better plan your golf trips soon to state resort parks! Rooms and cottages are filling fast! On a side note………..I have great friends…..I really do! Go online at www.kentuckytourism.com to get all the 411 on the Commonwealth! “buckle up, slow down and get there in one piece” More later in the week!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
