I hope the weather where you were was great for the Memorial Day weekend festivities and events! I was in Louisville twice, Richmond and Lexington………whew……. We drove into rain, drove out of rain, but the sunshine was abundant the whole time. Got a few holes of golf in……grilled some outrageous burgers Sunday night! Was it hot, or what? Dang! I love it though. Ill take 90 degrees any day over 30 degrees! This weekend we have lots to do as citizens of the Commonwealth. Capital Expo, The 100th anniversary of the Capitol building itself (a huge celebration planned for that here in the ‘Fort) music, food, singing and you get to see the newly remodeled rotunda. http://www.historicproperties. Who wants to fish? Hey, State Fish and Wildlife peeps are saying ‘fish for free” That’s right….no fishing license needed this weekend. Kids get out there and catch a few and then get mom or dad to show you how to clean them and then how to make a plate full of tasty catfish! Ummmmmmmm! Congrats to my oldest son Brenden and my niece Andrea, both graduating from high school this month. Time flies…………both are going to EKU this fall! More Stipes’ at EKU…. When will it stop? Lol ha.
