Below I am going to list some “not so often” thought about spots for

you to take the family to and/or maybe some friends this summer here in ‘ole Kantuck!

1.      Louisville Zoo

2.      Newport on the Levee

3.      The new and improved State Capital Building

4.      Fort Boonsboro State Park

5.      General Burnside State Park

6.      National Corvette Museum

7.      Cumberland Gap National Park

8.      My Old Kentucky Dinner Train

9.      Colonel Sanders Café (the first KFC)

10.   Land Between the Lakes Area

Of course, there is probably over 100 more spots to list here if we had the space!

WE TAKE ALL OF THESE SPOTS FOR GRANTED; when I visit lots of these places

I see so many out of state license plates. I see folks taking pictures and making memories!

C’mon people! I know we all love the beach……..but spend some time in Kentucky this summer.

fun and ‘wow, who knew we had this in Ky.” comments!
